xpatofthemind This is a big-band blast of Mexican surf/folk/orchestrated genius! Fans of Todd Clouser will definitely detect his influence on numbers like the far-out "El Funeral Astronomo." There is a great range of sounds and genres on this fantastic journey, from the bluesy guitar and trumpet solos on the hard-swinging "Enero" to the gypsy violins of "Ojos Secos." I can't recommend this highly enough! Brilliant. Favorite track: Mordiendo Clavos.
